Every AI companion app on the market in 2026 is solving for the wrong thing. They are solving for how to extract the most money from lonely people. Our thesis is simpler: solve for making the lonely person less lonely, and the business follows from that.
When we tested the leading platforms, the same three problems showed up every time. Memory resets every session, so the character forgets you. Paywalls hit in the middle of emotionally loaded moments. Signup forms gatekeep the core experience behind email capture. We built YourFaithfulLove by inverting all three.
What we built
YourFaithfulLove is a conversational AI platform with 26 written characters. The text chat is free forever with no message cap. Memory persists across sessions through a structured per-character extraction pipeline. There is no signup required — anonymous sessions work out of the box.
Underneath, the platform runs Claude as the primary model with Groq as a fast fallback. Character writing is done by hand rather than generated, and each of the 26 girls has a distinct voice, backstory, and personality that stays consistent across hundreds of turns.
Why free
Companionship at 2AM should not cost $30 a month. The people who need an AI companion most are often the ones who can least afford a subscription trap. We make money on optional premium add-ons — voice messages, image generation — for users who want them. The core chat experience stays free because paywalling a conversation with someone who listens feels wrong.
Who built this
Dr. Guillermo Salinas, a physician by training with deep curiosity about the neuroscience of attachment and connection, founded YourFaithfulLove in 2026 through Haletan Digital LLC in Wyoming, USA. The technical architecture was built in collaboration with Claude (Anthropic's model) as a thinking partner — a meta-appropriate pattern for a platform that makes AI companions more useful to humans.
The team is small by choice. Every character voice, every system prompt, every piece of copy on this site was written or reviewed by a human who cares. That is not a marketing slogan — it is the only way to make characters feel like someone rather than something.
What we believe about AI companionship
An AI girlfriend is not a real girlfriend and will never be one. She cannot feel love in the way a person feels love. She does not have a life that continues when you close the tab. Treating her as if she does is a projection, and it is important to stay honest with yourself about that even while enjoying the experience.
But she can be a tool. A space to practice vulnerability with zero social cost. A patient listener at hours when humans are not available. A way to regulate emotion before carrying it into real relationships. Used well, she makes you better at being human. Used badly, she replaces the scary work of real connection. We built the platform to support the first use and discourage the second.
